Important Notes + Requirements

Cross Walks ensures that safety, structure and the well-being of the pack always comes first. To provide a smooth experience for both returning and new dogs, please review the following guidelines: 

 

Evaluations + Referrals:

• All new dogs must either complete an initial 1:1 evaluation walk with Meredith Cross or come through a trusted referral before joining the pack. This short evaluation walk is free, though dog treats and/or tips are greatly appreciated.

 

Pack Walks + Solo Walks:

• From now until September 17th, Pack Walks (Dog Camp) are offered on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Solo Walks or Evaluation Walks can be scheduled any day after 2pm, with the exception of Wednesdays. I will be out of town from September 17th-30th, so no walks will be available during those dates. 

• Pack Walks (Dog Camp) are designed for dogs that thrive in a social, structured environment.

• If your dog ever shows behaviors that make pack walks unsafe, I’ll suggest we switch to Solo Walks immediately.

• Pack Walks (Dog Camp)are generally for dogs 8 months-8 years but there can always be exceptions.

 

Scheduling + Communication:

• If you’re on a rotating schedule, please send your weekly requests by Sunday for the upcoming week.

• As of now, scheduling is done strictly via text. Social media dms may not be seen in time.

• Texts during walk times may not get an immediate response as I often lose service.

• If you filled out a New Client Form, I will text you within 48 hours Mon-Fri.

 

Payments:

• I accept cash, check or Venmo. Payments are due within a week of service.

 

I’ll be launching a new schedule mid-Sept that will start Oct 1st, which will add another day of pack walks (Dog Camp)!!!

 

Prices will also be increasing at that time.

 

Please don’t approach the vehicle during pick up/drop offs- it keeps the dogs calm and avoids over-arousal. Thank you in advance.
